The NEDA Fall Symposium will be held November 1 & 2, 2014 at Apple Knoll in Millis, MA. Olympian and cavaletti queen extraordinaire, Ingrid Klimke demonstrates: Training The Classical Way through Fitness and Gymnastic Exercises. Live demonstrations with horses ranging from 4-year-olds to Grand Prix veterans; all will be demonstrating varied exercises with cavaletti. Dr. Ina Gösmeier presents: Natural therapies to support the health and improve the rideability of the horse. Dr. Ina will be lecturing and presenting practical applications of her specialties with live demonstrations and Powerpoint. Her utilization of chiropractic, acupuncture and herbal methods in addition to standard veterinary care generate wonderful discussions. These rarely available lectures are wildly popular and not to be missed. Demo Rider Application (due by Oct 8th)
We're looking for demonstration horse/rider partnerships from both dressage and eventing disciplines. Younger lower level horses can be 4, 5 or 6 and will be demonstrating the beginning process of cavaletti work. Intermediate or mid level horses need to be able to do simple changes and/or flying lead changes; they also will be using cavaletti. More experienced (older) horses will be exhibiting the more advanced movements using increasingly intricate exercises and again will be using cavaletti.
 
ONLINE Auditor Registration (extended to Oct 15th)
There is a significant discount available to NEDA members who pre-register and the space available to walk-ins could be limited. If there is space there will be walk-in rates on a per day basis. Group rates available too!

Hotel Info: NEDA has reserved a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn in Natick, MA. In order to access the block of rooms call reservations at 508-653-5000 (ask for the NEDA rate), or CLICK HERE. All reservations must be received on or before the cut-off date of TOMORROW October 3, 2014. The room rate has been reduced to $109.00/night for single or double occupancy; a deposit of $109.00 per room will be applied at time of reservation, the remainder due will be charged upon check out. For those who would like to do some tourist things, the room rate will be offered 3 days prior and 3 days after the group rates dates of October 31-November 3, 2014.
