Tickets Go On Sale Oct. 31 for the 2015 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event

 

Lexington, KY - October 13, 2014 - Tickets for the 2015 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event Presented by Land Rover will go on sale Oct. 31, 2014, at 9 a.m. Eastern U.S. time. The 2015 event returns to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY., April 23-26.

Known as the "Best Weekend All Year," Rolex Kentucky is the nation's premier Three-Day Event and one of the world's most prestigious equestrian competitions, bringing in the world's best horses and riders to vie for their share of $300,000 in prize money as well as a shot at the $350,000 Rolex Grand Slam of Eventing, which is awarded to any rider who wins theRolex Kentucky, Mitsubishi Motors Badminton and Land Rover Burghley Four Star Events in succession. The Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event is one of only six Four-Star Three-Day Events in the world and the only one in the Western Hemisphere.

Lee Carter, executive director of Equestrian Events, Inc. (EEI), organizer of the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event, said, "Our event already draws the best riders and horses in the world. Next April's event will be an even bigger draw as it's an official selection trial for the US Eventing Team to help determine which riders will compete at the Pan American Games a few months later. New this year are special 'Early Bird' ticket prices from Oct. 31-Dec. 15, 2014. Advanced ticket sales then run from Dec. 16-March 2, with gate prices taking effect on March 3.

Ticket options include four-day, three-day (Fri-Sat-Sun) and single-day general admissions, as well as group sales and reserved grandstand seating. All grounds admission tickets include parking, admission to the Kentucky Horse Park and International Trade Fair.

Reserved grandstand seating is sold separately from general admission and traditionally the best seats are sold out by January 1, so everyone is encouraged to place orders as early as possible.

Ringside hospitality packages are also available for a custom world-class Rolex Kentucky experience and for Saturday, April 25, spectators can purchase Land Rover Tailgate reserved spaces along portions of the famed Cross-Country Course at the Kentucky Horse Park. Given the popularity of the Land Rover Tailgate at the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event over the last three years, the Premium spots usually sell out by mid-November, so those interested are urged to reserve their spaces early.
