Lexington, KY - Ticket packages for the 2014 Kentucky Reining Cup, April 25-27 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY, are now available. Packages include tickets for each of the individual days plus discounted packages good for all three sessions!

The Kentucky Reining Cup, held in conjunction with the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event Presented by Land Rover, features the Adequan/USEF Open Reining National Championship and World Equestrian Games Selection Trial determining which horses and riders will represent the U.S. in the 2014 World Reining Championships at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy, France this summer. Also featured are the widely popular World Freestyle Championship, the Kentucky Reining Cup Team Challenge, FEI Junior and Young Rider classes and the addition of Para-Reining classes.

"Having won the team Gold Medal at the World Equestrian Games three consecutive times, the United States will be under tremendous pressure to field the strongest possible team for this year's Games in Normandy," said Brad Ettleman, President of HorsePower, Inc., producer of the Kentucky Reining Cup. "The Selection Trial at the Kentucky Reining Cup is sure to be the absolute best Reining anyone can see in the U.S. this year and I recommend that everyone order their tickets today!"

The Adequan/USEF Open Reining National Championship and World Equestrian Games Selection Trial will be a CRI3* held over two rounds - on Friday, April 25 at 6:00 pm and on Sunday, April 27 at 9:00 am. Friday's competition also includes the Kentucky Reining Cup Team Challenge. The World Freestyle Championship will be on Saturday, April 26 at 5:30 pm, following FEI Junior and Young Rider classes and Para-Reining classes which will be held earlier that afternoon. All classes will be held in the Kentucky Horse Park's Alltech Arena and a total of $120,000 in prize in prize money will be awarded over the three days.

Tickets for Reining's premier event are on sale now. Tickets good for the CRI3*Championship and Selection Trial on Friday are $15 per person and tickets for Saturday's World Freestyle Championship are $22 per person. Sunday admission is included with a ticket from either Friday or Saturday. Ticket packages including admission for all three days are available for just $35.00 per person. Parking is included free of charge.

This year's Kentucky Reining Cup promises to be the most exciting ever," said Ettleman. "Anyone who attended the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Kentucky remembers the incredible feeling of seeing the U.S. ride off with the Gold. Riders like Tom McCutcheon, Tim McQuay, Craig Schmersal and Shawn Flarida, who won that Gold Medal, will all be giving it their best to make the team that will be looking to defend the Gold this summer. There is no doubt that this is going to be one event that is not to be missed!"
