The Ocala's Chamber of Commerce and their vibrant "Equine Engagement Initiative" will be holding their monthly meeting and a special event at the beautiful farm and training base for Mary Phelps and Wayne Humphreys May 18, from 1-4 PM.

Friends, members and fans are invited to come and learn about this group, We encourage all in our Ocala Equestrian community to join. Monthly meetings are dynamic, and membership helps to shape and direct so many of the equine agendas in Marion County.

This event has always been a combination of Ocala's finest equine community members as well as friends, neighbors and fellow equestrians.

Mary and Wayne are preparing for their journey to The Netherlands, where they will be training in hopes of representing the United States at The FEI World Driving Championships for Ponies, in Oirschot, Netherlands August 30-Sept 3. Fundraising efforts have begun and will be launched at this event.

Their annual "Blessing of the Ponies" for Al Capony, Bugsy Malony, Tony Da Pony and Kimba with be performed by Father George Holston, of the Micanopy Episcopal Church of the Mediator.

Check out the fabulous vendors who will be set up under the Oaks next to the arena where Mary and her Breyer Boys, Bugsy Malony and Tony Da Pony will demonstrate the sport of combined driving.
