A spectacular painting by popular artist Lisa Marie Bishop of triple Olympic dressage gold medalists, Charlotte Dujardin and “Valegro,” will be a featured item in the silent auction at the 2018 NEDA Fall Symposium with Charlotte, October 13-14.
“Showstoppers” is a 24” x 24” acrylic on museum wrapped canvas and autographed by Charlotte!
Proceeds from the painting will benefit both the New England Dressage Association (NEDA) and Brooke USA, an organization that is close to the hearts of both Bishop and Dujardin. Bishop has historically donated works to raise funds for Brooke USA, while Dujardin has been a Global Ambassador of Brooke (in U.K.) since 2015. Notecards of the painting will be available for purchase with proceeds benefitting Brooke USA, as well as Limited Edition prints, numbered and signed by the artist.
“I'm a huge fan of Charlotte's. I mean really…who isn’t?!” said Bishop with a laugh. “NEDA is an amazing organization, with dedicated riders and owners, and Brooke USA is near and dear to my heart. It’s the perfect trifecta for me and I’m thrilled to be part of it!"

“We deeply appreciate the combined effort, talent, and generosity of NEDA, Charlotte Dujardin, and Lisa Marie Bishop in raising funds for Brooke USA at the Fall Symposium, so we can continue funding equine welfare programs around the world. Events like this are very important in improving the lives of animals and people in the developing world.” said Emily Dulin, Executive Director of Brooke USA.

About Lisa Marie Bishop
Combining her two passions, horses and art, Bishop strives to capture the essence, energy, and power of horses onto canvas using mixed media, including oil and acrylic, by employing abstract strokes indicating movement and grace. Bishop’s work, both equestrian and mainstream, graces the walls of Olympic riders and art collectors worldwide.
Despite being diagnosed at 24 years-old with Stargardt's disease which has caused her to become legally blind, Bishop is a USDF Silver medalist and competing at the FEI level. She evented to Intermediate level and is an official Course Designer. She currently has several horses in training, including two young horses of her own. There is not a day that goes by without horses in it for Bishop – whether it's in the arena or on the easel!
