ShowChic Celebrates Equestrian Fashion with a Champagne Toast and Turn Out Awards at Saugerties

Saugerties, NY – ShowChic dressage boutique, located in Wellington, Florida, recently traveled up north to help celebrate the traditions of the equestrian lifestyle in true fashion during the New England Dressage Association (NEDA) Fall Festival, held in Saugerties, New York. Working in tandem with their latest affiliate, Equiline, ShowChic sponsored the jog and presented two riders with the Turn Out award before they raised a glass of champagne to toast and celebrate the start the show. Karin Davis of Australia and Tom Dvorak of Canada each won a $100 gift certificate for ShowChic and a beautifully embroidered waffle weave blanked from Equiline for displaying the best fashion sense during the jog and dazzling the spectators and other competitors alike.“I thought Karin’s attire was very complementary to her horse,” described equestrian fashion expert, Kelly Molinari of Equiline who judged the contest. “It didn’t take the eye away from the horse, which is the primary subject.” She continued, “I also enjoyed the fact that she wore an asymmetric cut on her sweater, which is something that is trending in general fashion – so I thought she was on trend. Her horse Morris, was presented extremely well and was turned out beautifully.” Molinari was equally impressed with Tom Dvorak and his horse, Viva’s Salieri W. “I thought that he had a very proper, formal, traditional style,” she said, “He turned himself out well along with the horse. Also, his color scheme complemented the chestnut coloring of his horse, and the pair made a very nice presentation in the jog.” 

Working together, Show Chic and Equiline reinforced the importance of appearance and high fashion etiquette at dressage shows by bringing attention to the jog during NEDA.
