The 2015 NRHA(National Reining Horse Association) European Open Pre Futurity was held on Friday morning prior to the much awaited for European Non Pro Derby finals. Draw 9 in a field of 45 horse-rider combinations, Bernard Fonck riding Sevenchextocash for owners 7 Heaven Horses set the pace with a 218. His score held until the very end and along with the gelding by Big Chex To Cash and out of Lil Chic Peppy (Lil Ruf Peppy), he was crowned 2015 NRHA European €1.125-added Pre Futurity Open Level 4 champion.
“I’ve always really liked this horse and today he was simply great,” said the NRHA Million Dollar Rider and multiple NRHA Open World Champion about his mount. “It’s wonderful to see them turn from babies to show horses, and he is truly a show horse!”
The reserve championship went to Pierluigi Fabbri. Riding GFC Surprise For Me (Dualin For Me x ARC Surprise Onstage x Surprise Enterprise), a stallion owned by Piero Pollarini, the Italian professional posted a 216. “I’ve only been riding this horse for a month and he’s always been easy, even though a little green,” he said. “I can’t wait to show him in the IRHA (Italian Reining Horse Association) Futurity, especially after he did so well for me here.”

Winning the €750-added Level 2 championship was Andrea Bonadomane aboard Maurizio Ferrarol’s Please Have A King. The stallion by Let Me Out Please and out of Dry Peppy King (by Salvatus), rode the Italian professional to a 210. “I’ve had this horse in training since January and he truly is an amazing horse and really kind. Because he is so gentle he will probably be shown by Maurizio’s young daughter.”
The reserve championship in the Level 2 went to Italian Alberto Villani riding GD Jacs Remedy 86 (Remins Remedy x Jacs Doceta x International Jac) owned by Nicola Zambaldi. “I broke this gelding last year and this is our second show together,” said the Italian Professional who also broke Bonadomane’s mount. “He’s a really good horse and was very easy to train. I couldn’t be any happier.”
