Wellington, FL - During week eight of the tremendous Adequan® Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Florida, Omega Alpha® Pharmaceuticals awarded its Healthy Horse Award to popular dressage trainer/competitor Sahar Daniel Hirosh and the Grand Prix horse, Whitman. Omega Alpha is the leading maker of all-natural formulations for enhancing equine health and performance. During each week of the Festival the company honors a horse exemplifying its dedication to horse health and fitness.
The handsome 15-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding (Rhodium out of a Saluut mare) is owned by Jane Suwalsky, who now lives in Long Valley, New Jersey, but is also a mover-and-shaker for dressage in Israel. She and Hirosh are a team who met years ago in their native Israel. “I ride for Israel,” states young Hirosh proudly. He is based in New Hope, Pennsylvania, but also spends time in New Jersey and Florida each year.
The two are a team, and the team’s goal is to qualify Whitman for the World Equestrian Games (WEG) this September in Tryon, North Carolina. Last summer the pair won a top Grand Prix class at the Gold Coast Summer Solstice in Wellington with a 70% score. ”We are now trying to get our second score for the WEG in order to represent Israel,” he explains. Then he smiles and can’t help but wax rhapsodic about the horse. “Whitman is amazing to ride because he is a real show horse. If I just stay out of his way, he flies and I have no concept of time.”
This week in Wellington the pair qualified to ride in the Grand Prix Freestyle where they are hoping for their second qualifying score. Hirosh needs at least 66% for his ticket to the WEG.

”Omega Alpha products are wonderful,” Hirosh says. “I’m excited about using them.” He and Whitman received an Omega Alpha cooler and a large selection of the company’s award-winning health products that are developed from botanical ingredients and processed through research-based science.
The Omega Alpha Healthy Horse Award is given each week at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival to the horse that best demonstrates good health and fitness.
