With mane and feathered pasterns flowing at every stride, his rider, Sabine Schut-Kery seemed oblivious to the goings on around her as she put Proud Meadow Friesian's Jorrit through his paces. Then just moments before the bell rang for her entrance, she pulled up to the side of the arena, reached across his neck and brought his mane together into one long neat braid. Schut-Kery then put on her jacket, and entered the arena to go on to win the class.
