Riders Gather for Another Fun Weekend of Competition at Welcome Back to White Fences II and III

Loxahatchee, Florida – Susanne Hamilton and Lord Locksley earned the high score of the show at this year's Welcome Back to White Fences II and III. The pair gained the high-score title on Sunday after winning in Training Level with a 72.174 percent. The pair went home with a total of three blue ribbons in Training Level competition over the course of the two-day show, held at Ingred Lin's White Fences Equestrian Center. 

A number of top riders used the event to get some mileage on lesser-known mounts. George Williams had a new mount in FEI-level competition, taking a win in Open Prix St. Georges on Sunday with Don Bailey. The pair earned a score of 68.158 to beat out more than two dozen competitors. Williams also took two wins in Third Level competition with Vermeer earning a score of 69.070 in Third Level Test Three on Sunday and a 68.140 in the same test on Saturday. Chris van Martels earned a very respectable 70.698 percent in Fourth Level competition with Kenmare.

Saturday's Open Prix St. Georges competition was won by Bill Warren and Leiden with a score of 70.526. Warren also collected ribbons in Third Level competition with Well Done II and in Second Level with Xanur HM. In the Prix St. Georges AA competition, the winner on Sunday was Leeda Fletcher riding Kentucky to a score of 64.474 percent. Saturday's winner was Chris Graye riding Samurei to a score of 66.842 percent.

In Intermediaire I competition, Holger Bechtloff and Relentless JP won the Open competition on Sunday with a score of 65.00. Saturday's Open Intermediaire I class was won by Barton Lee Patrick riding Phoenix Gwyngalet. Lisa DuFresne and Caballero 37 won the AA Intermediaire I class on Sunday with a score of 69.211 and Saturday's class was won by Jeanne Van Nuys-Hitt riding Sirtaki to a score of 68.684. Nadine Scholonsok won both Open Intermediaire II classes with Ikaros, scoring 66.316 on Saturday and 68.947 on Sunday to edge out Bill Warren and Romantic with their score of 68.421.

In Grand Prix competition, Carrie Schopf and Montaigne won the Open Grand Prix on Sunday with a score of 68.511 and Alyssa Joy Eidbo riding Johnny Cash won Saturday's Open Grand Prix. The Grand Prix AA class was won both days by Jennifer Huber and Al Pacino with a score of 64.043 on Sunday and 66.809 on Saturday.
