Reunions at Aachen

It is quite fitting that as I arrived here in Europe to be at Aachen after the longest absence ever, 6 years, my old photo database which has been on the shelf has been restored. It began in the year 2000 and we are going to have some fun here sharing images from the past. As I have been scrolling through them, there are so many people I saw last night at the Aachen Media Party and on the starter lists for Dressage, Showjumping, and Driving that were there 17 years ago. I will start today's memory with Astrid Appels, who as a young journalist still using one of our cameras did her first Aachen with us.

We have changed and grown, and are still today thriving with websites we each created at the same time. DressageDaily.com and HorsesDaily.com were created in 1997, as was the original version of what is now Astrid's EuroDressage.com.
