Journalist, Photographer, Trainer
Lynndee’s journalism career has also undergone a transformation over the years. She spent many years with Gannett covering politics and the agriculture industry with a bit of entertainment industry coverage thrown in. It’s a career that has given her unique experiences and opportunities to meet some of the world’s most interesting people. She has met two presidents, a host of celebrities and even once spent time on the Royal Yacht Britannia with Prince Andrew and “Fergie.”
As busy as she was turning out daily news articles, Lynndee was able to launch her career as an equestrian journalist by using her weekends and vacations to cover horse shows for newspapers and equestrian magazines. Over the years, she’s traveled the world covering equestrian events, including several World Cup competitions and the World Equestrian Games. Today, her political writing takes a backseat to her career as an equestrian journalist, but Lynndee isn’t complaining. Working as an equestrian journalist is the perfect merger of her lifelong interests – riding and writing.
