The Swedish chef d'equipe Bo Jena put his arms in the air in front of the Swedish flag. He had all reasons to do so. Both Patrik Kittel (77,350%) and Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfven (80,525%) had just finished on the in the 60.000 Euro Exquis Grand Prix Freestyle presented by Axel Johnson Group. Second place was taken by Isabell Werth and Don Johnson (80,125%). 'During the warm-up I had prepared Don Auriello so that he would be fresh and active in the competition arena. It paid off, but I was really riding him on the edge. He had so much power I was afraid I would lose him', Tinne said in the press conference. 'Tinne and Don Auriello did a super job', Katrina Wüst (judge at C) said. 'The combination is so harmonious. Isabell's freestyle has a slightly higher degree of difficulty and that is why I had her placed on the number 1 position'. Asked for his review of the freestyle, Patrik Kittel said he was very happy that contrary to the GP they had only a few mistakes.

WDM Jiva Hill Youth Challenge 2013
'A perfect experience', commented Daniëlle van Mierlo afterwards. I was only aware of the fact I had to do a kur on Thursday. I used Patrick van der Meer's kur that was tailored overnight in the right tempo for my horse by Boy de Winter of L' Hiver. I trained the kur on my other horse that was with me. A stressful few days but I wouldn't want to have missed out on it. The winner of the Kür, Sofie Jeppesen received a voucher for a special treat at 5* resort & spa Jiva Hill that is located in Crozet near Geneva.

With a beautiful ride in the closing kur Sofie Jeppesen from Denmark aboard First As won this year's WDM Jiva Hill Youth Challenge. Second place was for Veronique Henschen from Luxembourg and third place for Daniëlle van Mierlo from the Netherlands.

NÜRNBERGER WDM Rider Ranking
Tinne Vilhelmson from Sweden was the most successful rider over the last 4 WDM shows (Falsterbo 2012, Mechelen 2012, Palm Beach 2013 and Munich 2013). She competed in 3 of them and was in a close battle for the 25.000 Euro rider bonus with Patrik Kittel. Before the Exquis Grand Prix Freestyle presented by Axel Johnson Group they were only 7 points apart. Third place was for Isabell Werth from Germany. This is the second time Tinne Vilhelmson wins the NÜRNBERGER WDM Rider Ranking. She won before in 2012.
