Dressage in the heartland is alive and thriving, with milestones reached, lovely horses, talented riders, and a show grounds at Silverwood Farm in Camp Lake, Wisconsin that seems to run on auto pilot. Megan McIsaac got the Markel High Point ribbon with Ullerups Diddi with a 75.5% at Third level Test 3. Jessica Starck trainer at Tempel Lippezans, earned her USDF Gold Medal her mother’s 11-year-old Holsteiner mare with a 71.8%. Patricia Becker is aiming for the Markel 6-year-old and Developing Horse Championships in August with Anne Barlow Ramsay’s 8-year-old Oldenburg Syallion Freedom, and Joan Pecora’s 6-year-old KWPN Edward. Mandi Conlin continues to develop her relationship and experience on Yvonne Barteau’s Fresian-Dutch mare cross Opius.
