Jog day began with bright sunshine and a cool 50 degree morning in Estes Park, Colorado at the gateway to the Rocky Mountain National Park. The 240 competitors were treated to an early morning Farmer’s Market and the usual parade of the Elk Herd through town. 25 CDI rider’s will jog this afternoon for President of the Ground Jury, Peter Holler of Germany and Dr. Mike Tomlinson. An after jog party will be held for all of the USEF Dressage Seat Medal Finalists and sponsored by Lendon Gray. Thursday, Horseshow.com will sponsor a Pizza Party for the finalists, their parents and coaches and on Saturday the competitors will be treated to a Fried Chicken Dinner. Special events include a $2000.00 freestyle challenge sponsored by Bijoux Sporthorses and the Sage Creek Team Challenge. A fund raising brunch for Loveland’s Hearts and Horses Theraputic Riding Center will highlight Sunday morning and the freestyles. Over 100 reservations have been made for this great event.
