Overwhelming Response to "Name the Ravel Baby Contest" and The Winner Is.....

Wow! Akiko Yamazaki, Ravel's owner, has announced the thrilling response to the "Name the Ravel Baby Contest!" with over 350 names submitted! While the contest was originally going to run through May 15, the response was so overwhelming that it has been closed and a winner declared!
Akiko reports the "By popular demand and after consulting with Willy and Steffen, we declare "Gaspard de la Nuit" as the baby's name. There were 10 entries as such so we will have 10 winners of the photo montage. Gaspard de la Nuit is a piano solo piece composed by Ravel. It has three movements, each based on a poem by Aloysius Bertrand. The name "Gaspard" itself means "Man in charge of royal treasures."
She continues - "The 'Wrong camp' prizes go to: "Gotilas," "Google," and "Guenter"! The winners of this prize may clean his stall at his first show! The 'Right camp' prizes go to "Rakiko," "Rafa," (Ravel's groom) and "Rodrigo." (Ravel's vet) The winners may give the baby a carrot at his first show!"
