Omega Alpha Awards Healthy Horse Prize to Michael Tokaruk and Carly Anthony During Summer In The Rockies

Parker, CO. - Two glistening high flying jumpers caught the eye of Omega Alpha Pharmaceuticals, Inc. With their overall good health and happy demeanors they where obvious choices for the Omega Alpha Healthy Horse Award, which is presented throughout the Summer in the Rockies Series held at The Colorado Horse Park.

Michael Tokaruk from Germantown, TN rode the handsome grey gelding Corcovado BG to victory in the 1.25m and the Omega Alpha Healthy Horse Award. Corcovado is an eight year old American Warmblood, out of Chapultepec (ChinChin) x Tecmessa, and is bred and owned by Blue Gate Farm of Dousman, WI. “He’s got a really great personality in the barn, and today he did really well. He handled all the questions of the course well”, said Tokaruk of his mount.  Having ridden seven horses over the weekend, Tokaruk was well versed in the many courses, “The courses are very appropriate for the levels we are at and the level of the show”. Going into the final weeks of the series and the end of summer Tokaruk hopes to get Corcovado in the 1.40m and some smaller Grand Prix’s. “I have heard of Omega Alpha, and I’ve heard many great things about them so I am excited to try out the products”, said Tokaruk of his win and getting to try some of Omega Alpha’s all natural equine supplements.

During week five of the Summer in the Rockies Series, Carly Anthony and Chacco claimed the Omega Alpha Healthy Horse Award. Anthony traveled from Seattle, WA to compete Neil Jones Equestrian, INC. twelve year old Dutch Warmblood in the 1.35m, 1.45m and Grand Prix. Anthony was all smiles as she talked about Chacco, “He is a loving and kind horse with a big heart that wants to do well in every class. He was awesome in the rounds today, we went double clear”. Having ridden in three classes with Chacco, Anthony certainly got a good feel for the courses, “The course designer was awesome.  He built nice flowing courses, were the horses can jump nicely and build some confidence”, she said about her experiences in the ring. In the coming months Anthony hopes to start placing consistently in the Grand Prix’s and having used Omega Alpha products before she is no stranger to the great benefits they can provide to Chacco.
