Gladstone, NJ – In dressage, the slightest detail can make all the difference, and Neue Schule has been perfecting the nuances of bits and their design. Their efforts have paid off, with this attention to detail helping to deliver winning results to a number of top riders. Neue Schule Ambassadors JJ Tate and Steffen Peters have taken this success to its highest level, as they were among the top riders in the United States selected to compete at the US Dressage Festival of Champions presented by the Dutta Corp. Held June 12-15 in Gladstone, New Jersey, the Festival of Champions will serve as the selection trials for the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy, France. Ranked number one in the United States is Steffen Peters of San Diego, California, and his mount Legolas. They head the group of fifteen US riders selected with an average score of 74.892%. Peters favors, among others, the Neue Schule Verbindend snaffle for its revolutionary design and overall effectiveness. A World Cup, World Equestrian Games, and Olympic veteran, including having ridden in the 2012 London Olympics with his famed partner Ravel, Peters is a favorite to make the cut to compete at the 2014 World Equestrian Games. “We love the fit and ultimate comfort that Neue Schule provides our horses,” said Peters. “The difference has been clear on each horse, from the first ride.”

Another successful dressage competitor and Neue Schule Ambassador who will be competing at the Festival of Champions is Jessica Jo (JJ) Tate and her partner Faberge. Known around the barn as Fiji, the 2003 Westfalen gelding is owned by Elizabeth Guarisco-Wolf of Middleburg, Virginia and will be campaigned by Tate in the small tour at the Festival of Champions. She had Fabrege have had much success during their time in the arena, including winning the 2009 Reserve Championship in the 6-year-old Division at the USEF/Markel Young Horse Championships and top placings in the Intermediare 1 and Prix St. Georges on the Flroida winter circuit and Dressage at Devon. “One of the most important factors in developing a wonderful, soft connection to the bridle is a quality bit,” said Tate. “Neue Schule has impressed me with not only their weight and quality metal, but also in the overall comfort for the horses.” Tate operates her Team Tate Dressage out of Maryland and Florida.

Neue Schule is also endorsed by a number of top riders in a variety of disciplines. In addition to Peters and Tate, their dressage riders include such names as US Olympic team rider Heather Blitz, Kathy Connelly, Nicolas Fyffe, Canadian Olympian David Marcus, and Danish Team rider Mikala Gundersen. Neue Schule’s team of Ambassadors also include eventers Buck Davidson, Allison Springer, and Kim Severson and show jumpers Danielle Goldstein, Candice King, and Todd Minikus.
