Nadine Buberl is from Thueringen, Bad Liebenstein, Germany, earned the Bereiter Certification in 2005 and the Masters License in 2008, the most prestigious title given by the German National Federation, which she graduated with Honors. Buberi competed two horses in the Five-Year-Old Division of the Markel/USEF Young and Developing Horse Championships, winning the Final and Championship class with Fashion Designer OLD (Oldenburg X Faustinius out of Forst-Design X De Niro) owned by Martin Sosnoff and Cesar Parra and placing third with Michael Davis' Fiderhit OLD X Fidertanz out of Fleur by Sandro Hit). After working for some of the most sought after barns in Germany, Buberl credits her opportunity to work and train at Performance Farm as “the greatest experience of my life ” and the “Chicago Team” for her success. While it’s business as usual back in Whitehouse Station where Burberl trains and rides with Dr. Cesar Parra and head trainer Katie Riley, she continues to reflect on her experience at the Markel/USEF National Young Horse Championships, presented by HorseShow.com at the beautiful Lamplight Equestrian Center in Wayne, Illinois.

“There were fantastic horses at the Championships.” said Buberl who has trained and shown in Europe.  “I must say that the show organizers, sponsors, and volunteers were all great.  I cannot say enough about how well the show was conducted and the beauty of the show grounds was certainly world class. I would love to come back to Lamplight to show again.  When I compare it to Europe, I think we have a great future in the USA that we must keep on working hard.”

Nadine has been with Performance Farm for four years riding, training and working with from all over the world.  “It is really quite amazing, with many different languages yet working as one team. For example, my groom Laura Prudells is from Catalan, Spain and has been with Performance Farm now three years. At Performance Farm everyone shares in what needs to get done. Laura is always fun to work with. She enjoys travel and working with the horses, and Laura is great at making the horses shine their best in a show ring.”

“At Performance Farm riding is not the biggest challenge,” Buberl goes onto explain. “It is just one of the challenges we work to improve. The philosophy of Cesar Parra is that we learn not only how to be better riders, horse trainers, and horse professionals, but we learn about how to be better people as well.  We learn that to be the best Dressage rider we can be, we need to be the best person also.”

"I feel so very blessed to have such quality people, riders and horses in my life." said Cesar Parra. "It is hard for me to describe just one; this time it was Fashion Designer and Fiderhit who made us proud. Nadine 's talent is really coming through. It’s really exciting to watch the horses develop to the point of becoming National Champions. I cannot wait to see what the future holds."

"Success like we have had would not be at all possible without the fantastic team We have working back at home. I truly believe they are the best in the world. I am a very lucky man. To thank everybody would be very difficult; from Martin Sossnoff an 82 year old Gentleman, to Bebe Davis, a 15 year old young lady; it is because of so many people that this is possible."
