Mary Phelps2018 was a banner year for our agency with a large growth in writing farm and liability coverage, and we hope to continue that trend in 2019. As an experienced horse farm agent, knowledgeable about the horse industry and the types of operations in our sport, we are here to help you with the coverage that is so important for those of us in this industry. We can review your coverage’s and provide you with, (in most cases) a competitive quote, added value and service. In the past, an application for a farm owner and/or liability account to those busy with the daily responsibilities of running an equine operation was a daunting task, but we have streamlined the process and are available to do the work for you, given some basic information.

With our “Quick Quote” process, just 15 minutes of your time can often be all that is required to provide you with a quote. Is 15 minutes worth it to see what we can do to help you save money and assure you, you have the protection you need? Call us.

I own a farm myself, compete in Combined Driving, and travel to many shows in the regions I represent. I deal with all aspects of the business; showing, veterinary and farrier expenses, travel and managing a business, so I know in a small way what many of my clients deal with on a daily basis. And as our readers know, I have provided HorsesDaily/DressageDaily.com news and information since 1997 to our equestrian community.

Tracey Scharf, my administrative assistant and licensed Customer Sales Representative (CSR), is available and has my back as I travel to shows and events.

We have a good working knowledge of your type of operation, and know exactly what information the insurance company will require. We will be able to present your operation fairly and accurately so the company can rate your farm based on your actual exposures, not over or under-inflated numbers that would result in unrealistic premium results. It’s important to use a company that is familiar with horse related operations so there’s understanding and agreement between agent and company and quotes are accurate, not inflated.

I am very proud to be one of the Equine Insurance Specialists selected by Markel to represent them, and am prepared to provide you with the best quote possible for your business, with their full support.

Send us an e-mail or give us a call, if you are interested, and let’s get the process started.
