On February 10 at Grant Farms Wellington, Florida, one of the world’s greatest equine photographers who died from Leukemia in 2009 will be honored at the annual LLS Equestrian of the Year fundraiser. High Performance Dressage rider Mary Ann Grant a Lymphoma survivor took her experience with the disease to the next level by making a difference. In 2003 she created a program to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, awarding the equestrian who raised the most money the title of Equestrian of the Year. Since this program began, Grant and the participants have raised over $700,000 for research to help find a cure for this disease. Each year at the annual fundraiser party held in Wellington Florida, the winner is announced, and the fundraising continues with a specila evening of food, drink, and an exciting silent auction. Reservations required by February 4, 2011. RSVP to Marissa Burns appreciated by February 4, 2011 at 561-775-9954
