Lamplight Equestrian Center Welcomes Great American/USDF Breeders Championship North Central Series Final

Wayne, IL – Dressage horses and young prospects are gathering at Lamplight Equestrian Center for a busy weekend of competition Sept. 19-20. Along with September Dressage at Lamplight, the historic equestrian center in Wayne, Illinois, will host the Great American/USDF Breeders Championship North Central Series Final for the first time.

The Breeders Championship Series highlights the top breeders and sport horses across the U.S. Each series includes three qualifying events in a designated geographical area, culminating in a final event. Horses competing in this weekend’s final at Lamplight have qualified through earlier events in the North Central area.

Up for grabs at the championship are the titles of Great American/USDF Breeders Championship Series Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Current Year Foal, Filly, Colt/Gelding, Mare and Stallion.

September Dressage at Lamplight offers classes from Training Level through Grand Prix on both Saturday and Sunday. The event wraps up a successful season of dressage shows that included the Markel/USEF Young and Developing Horse Dressage National Championships, the U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions presented by The Dutta Corp., the USEF Dressage Seat Medal Finals, and several national competitions drawing riders from across the region.
