Bateson Chandler won section one of the class aboard Jane Clark’s Dea II, an eight-year-old Hanoverian mare, with a score of 69.825%. Bateson Chandler said the mare may be the “horse of a lifetime” for her. “I love chestnuts and I love mares,” she gushed, adding, “She is coming along so quickly.”

Alicki won the second section of the FEI Prix St. George class on the stunning black stallion Donates, owned by Melanie Pai of Middleburg, Virginia. Donates showed off his dressage skills in the ring, but also proved he is a stallion with exceptional looks and disposition when he returned to the ring during the exhibitor’s party for the awards presentation.
