Wellington, FL – The ShowChic mobile boutique at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival was host to Olympic Gold Medalist Carl Hester, dressage fashionista Karen Lipp, and a multitude of other dressage competitors and enthusiasts during the show series’ CDI-5* week. Karen Lipp of Atlanta, Georgia, arrived in style to the Adequan Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Florida, where she was awarded the coveted ShowChic Turnout Award at the CDI Jog.
The CDI 5* week of competition was the largest of the renowned 2016 Adequan Global Dressage Festival season thus far. Over 120 horses were presented to the judges at the CDI Jogs. Karen Lipp’s stylish presentation stood out from the crowd, and she was honored with the ShowChic Turnout Award and a prize from Cavallo. ShowChic, a must-stop-shop for the most fashionable styles in the dressage ring, partnered with the chic equestrian brand Cavallo to give Lipp a pair of beautiful high-quality breeches amongst other products. Cavallo is recognized for its ability to combine extraordinary fashion and high functionality in its products – perfectly indicative of the quality of merchandise available at ShowChic.

Lipp, a dressage professional based near Atlanta, Georgia, is enjoying two months of sunshine in Florida. While here, Lipp is training with fellow dressage competitor Tina Konyot and competing with two FEI mounts. In the CDI 3* Small Tour, Lipp is showing her own Baximiliana, a ten-year-old bay KWPN mare. In the National Show Intermediate II, Lipp is competing Whitney, an impressive eleven-year-old chestnut Hannovarian mare owned by Kathleen Oldford.
According to ShowChic founder Michele Hundt, ShowChic Turnout Award winners are riders who dress for success by incorporating fashion, flair, coordination, and uniqueness into their look during the CDI Jog. Lipp accomplished that by wearing a beautiful coral-colored flowing top and tan jeans while a gleaming Baximiliana trotted next to her with a elegantly plaited mane. Lipp believes it is important for handlers to dress in style for the jog presentation, as it shows respect to the judges and fellow competitors.
