The Jazz son, KWPN stallion Johnson showed by Hans Peter Minderhoud is the VHO Trophy winner for the best dressage stallion at Intermediate or Grand Prix level at the KWPN Stallion Show. In an expressive, flawless Freestyle test, a debut for Minderhoud and his fantastic performing stallion, the pair demonstrated mastery and suppleness in all the movements. The bay stallion scored 77.125%. It was more than enough for the victory. Hans Peter said: “Johnson is a gentleman. He simply does what you are asking for. I hope to bring him to some international shows at intermediate level and than prepare him for Grand Prix”, Hans Peter commented.
The difference between the second and third place finishers was smaller. Roman Nature, ridden by Angela Krooswijk, had some baubles in the tempi-changes, which resulted in a score of 73.33%. Decor Dreamcatcher performed a pleasing test under Mireille van Kemenade-Witlox but also made some mistakes in the changes, earning a score of 73.293%.

KWPN Stallion Sale Successful
The just crowned 3 year old KWPN champion stallion Diebrecht (Zizi Top x Kennedy) was the first horse to be sold at the KSS-Sale. He was sold for €150.000 to Blue Hors Stud in Denmark. A few years ago Blue Hors Stud bought the just crowned champion of the KWPN stallion show Zagreb. Earlier at the Stallion Show Blue Hors bought a Jazz x Ferro descendant. Two stallions were sold to the Ukraine. Some of the stallions were bought by stables for their riders. Westrade Stables bought Dance (Florencio x Rohdiamant) for its rider Dominique Filion at the KSS-Sale. The former gold and silver medalist of Dutch teams at the EC for Junior and Young Riders Dominique Filion now has three fantastic horses which will not be sold. She is preparing them for a career in Grand Prix.
