John and Lynn Boomer Retire from The Dressage Foundation

After managing The Dressage Foundation for over a decade, John and Lynn Boomer announced their retirement on December 31, 2009.  John served as President and CEO, while Lynn held the position of Administrative Director.  During their time as the management team of the Foundation, over $925,000 was given to dressage riders and groups, through Funds John and Lynn helped to establish and develop. Reflecting on their time with the Foundation, John and Lynn said, "We think of hundreds of recipients of scholarships and grants awarded by the Foundation, which were made possible by donors to The Dressage Foundation. We applaud our distinguished Board of Directors and cadre of volunteers who have played a major role in the Foundation's success.  We have loved our years at the Foundation's helm, and our hearts will continue to be with you as we enter our retirement years!"

Melissa Filipi and Jenny Johnson are the new staff members of The Dressage Foundation.  Melissa, as Development Director, will seek out donations for current programs, assist with new programs, and raise general operating funds.  As the Administrative Manager, Jenny is responsible for the daily operations of the Foundation, including grant/scholarship programs and financial records and reporting.  They can be contacted at 402-434-8585 or at info@dressagefoundation.org.
