Janne Rumbough’s JR Wins TailRx “Best Tail Award” At Wellington Classic Dressage Challenge II

West Palm Beach, FL – With the elegance of the Pure Spanish Horse bloodlines running through his body – right down to his tail – Janne Rumbough’s beautiful P.R.E. Pure Spanish gelding JR captured the TailRx “Best Tail Award” at the Wellington Classic Dressage Challenge II show in West Palm Beach, Florida. The seven-year-old, 17-hand, dappled grey JR, owned by Rumbough and her MTICA Farm of Wellington, was at the show competing in third level. JR is out of Rumbough’s P.R.E. stallion Gaucho and Pura Raza Espanola, or P.R.E.’s, are Pure Spanish Horses that have been linked to the culture of Andalusia for thousands of years.

Rumbough was thrilled to win the TailRx “Best Tail Award” as she is an owner who prides herself on using quality products on her horses. JR’s tail is definitely a source of pride, and Rumbough said his gorgeous tail is never combed but only hand picked to prevent breakage. Rumbough also explained the heritage of P.R.E.’s, saying all babies have their manes and tails shaved off when young so they grow back in thick.

Rumbough rides with well-known trainer Jon Brons and is an icon on the Adult Amateur dressage circuit. Although she has countless wins to her name, Rumbough was pleased to add JR’s TailRx “Best Tail Award” to her collection.
