Lendon Grey posted on her Facbook page a very sweet tribute to one of her life changing partners – the Connemara cross gelding Last Scene. Here is what Lendon wrote regarding the passing of one of her wonderful partners. From Lendon: Last Scene – we will miss you smiling eyes and begging lips. As a young horse one of the most frustrating I ever rode, as a Grand Prix horse you brought me many years of success and wonderful fun, as a school master you taught so much to so many. At 33 you still felt every human was there to give you treats and somehow we could never turn you down. Today you lay down in your pasture in the sun and crossed the bridge. I know Peggy Whitehurst your breeder and owner is there with a special treat for you.
