The Rheinland Pfalz-Saar International’s annual Stallion Service Auction opens Feb 24th and closes Sunday, March 8th. This auction has unequaled quality and variety of stallions, with starting bids for Warmbloods at $500 and Ponies at $250. We welcome these proven performers and producers with the goal of expanding their availability and genetic treasures to a wider mare base in N. America. Crossroads Farm is introducing the 2013 reserve champion of the South German approvals - Coronet d’Honneur, from the illustrious Comme il Faut (Cornet Obolensky x Ratina Z).

Looking for exciting young stallions from the best Europe has to offer? Check out A1 Performance Sires’ gleaming black Fantastic (Fürst Romancier x Sandro Hit), or 2013 Bundeschampion Fürst Fohlenhof (Fidertanz x Mephistopheles). Also from the RPSI Semen Bank, two very interesting youngsters with hard-to-find genetics from Hengststation Voelz - the charismatic and beautiful Crumble (Colman x Carinjo), and 2014 Premium Holsteiner stallion Zornell (Zirocco Blue x Colman).

Dreamscape Farm is introducing Lestat, an exciting young Lordanos son with a solid show record in the young horse classes in Germany, to the RPSI books. The dreamy Dreamscape lineup also includes the RPSI’s 2014 top premium-producing stallion Bon Balou (Balou du Rouet x Argentinus), as well as his impressive stablemates Banderas, Checkmate, and Farscape DSF.

Dolany (Donnerhall x Cor de la Bryere) - Foxfire Farm

New to Marabet Farms, though not a newcomer to the breeding scene, is top producing Apiro (Argentinus x Pilot). Filling out Marabet Farm’s quality offerings for the H/J ring are the excellent producing Balt’Amour, and champion and reserve of their stallion tests, Bliss MF and I-Carry On MF.

Also new for 2015 H/J breeders is vice-champion of the 6 year old jumpers in the Netherlands, Ultime Espoir by Chellano Z. Also Hilltop Farm’s Grand Prix show jumper GK Calucci and the well-bred and sporty Toulon son, winner of the 6 y.o.YJC Eastern League Finals, Beaulieau’s Talisman, another new face in the RPSI lineup, standing in Quebec, Canada, is Holsteiner FEI dressage stallion Aliano (Aljano x Corrado I).

Horses Unlimited’s GP stallion Pik L graces our line up with his presence once more. His son Pikko Del Cerro HU continues to shine at the Grand Prix in 2015 under Olympian Lisa Wilcox. Also from Horses Unlimited is Gallant Reflection HU by Galant du Serein, now earning impressive qualifying scores in the FEI 6 y.o. classes this winter. Also a highlight for Dressage breeders are Rainbow Equus Meadows’ top FEI stallions Rubignon (Rubinstein x Donnerhall) and Wild Dance (Wolkenstein II x Matcho), and Woods Lane Farm’s Regazzoni (Rubinstein x Werther) and Romancero H, by Rohdiamant.

This year the RPSI is showcasing several young N. American bred stallions. The first is the colorful 2011 Dutch WB Gotham. By Hennessy, and out of a Domino mare, his temperament, movement and show-stopping looks make this stallion a winning choice. The 2010 Bay Zweibrücker LaBamba SE is by GP dressage stallion Lacado. Located in Alberta, Canada, LaBamba is another interesting young stallion for mare owners looking to get ahead of the curve.

Ultime Espoir (Chellano Z x Laeken) – Barbara Chapin

Hyperion Studs’ GP jumper Imothep by Indoctro continues to wow with Darragh Kenny, with top results at the International level. For event as well as dressage breeders, don’t overlook Intermediate level Hanoverian Eventer San City (San Remo x Bolero); also a welcome newcomer to the RPSI books - Concerto Grosso by Concerto II – brings a solid pedigree as well as a performance record in the eventing world.

Lagoheidor sired the 2014 RPSI SSA Futurity winner Lennon, out of Crossroads’ Farm GP Jumper/Pradikat sport mare Araconda. A big congratulations goes out to his breeder/owner Sharon Craig.
