High Demand for Aachen 2010 Tickets

Saturday, July 11, 2009

Almost 360,000 visitors from all over the world visited the CHIO Aachen 2009 - and many have already secured their tickets for the coming year. "There was great demand even during the show week," said Frank Kemperman, Chairman of the Aachen-Laurensberger Rennverein e.V. (ALRV). Aachen will most likely be a key to the selection of European Teams for to 2010 Alltech/FEI World Equestrian Games in Lexington Kentucky, September 25 - October 10.

Tickets for the jumping and dressage disciplines are particularly popular. "Especially the final weekend with the ROLEX Grand Prix of the show-jumpers or the Deutsche Bank Prize in the dressage are running magnificently. The equestrian sport fans are aware that these competitions are always the first to be sold-out," emphasised Kemperman. "This time they are snapping the tickets up early, to make sure they don't go away empty handed." The same also applies for the season tickets for the whole week. The demand for tickets lies around five percent higher than last year, estimated Frank Kemperman. "Of course the exact figures fluctuate from day to day. Especially since the equestrian sport fans can in the meantime order their tickets nationwide at advance sale box offices and via the internet as well as at our own ticket centre." The World Equestrian Festival, CHIO Aachen 2010, is scheduled from July 9th-18th.
