With the 2012 London Olympic Games looming brightly in the future the same cannot be said for the 2012 Hickstead CDI. With conflict of dates, the organizers have had a difficult time coming up with an alternative date that would be attractive to foreign riders. After much thought and deliberation, the Hickstead CDI will be postponed until sometime in 2013. However, Hickstead will still host an array of events for 2012 including (but not limited to) the British Para Olympic final trials, the Team London Schools championships as well as the British Young Horse championships.
