Maple Park, IL - KYB Dressage and Grand Prix Equestrian announce the launch of Half Pass Moon Productions, formerly known as KYB GPE Equine Theater Productions. The entertainment-based company anticipates a busy fall/winter 2014 season that began in August with two winning performances in the Horse Dancing Contest at The Festival of the Horse and Drum in Kane County, IL.  On both evenings of the show, The Lion King, featuring Yvonne Barteau and GP Raymeister along with the on-foot cast, our mini Patrick and his handler Arianna finished first. Another Half Pass Moon Production took second place. The Phantom of the Opera, featuring Ruben Martinez and the Andalusion stallion Papi again worked with the on-foot dancers to capture a scene from the beloved Broadway musical.

Winning entertainment productions are no stranger to this company. Since the 90's Kim and Yvonne Barteau have been at the forefront of equine entertainment. Performances at Equine Affaire in Massachusetts and Ohio, in Madison Square Garden and even the TODAY show have all been proven winners.

For 15 years, Kim was the Head Trainer at The Arabian Nights Dinner Theater in Orlando, FL and Yvonne was the Director of Entertainment Operation, Principle Trainer and Feature Performer for five years. Seven nights a week, every week, Arabian Nights performances drew a full house of enthusiastic audiences, making it the number one dinner theater attraction in Orlando for seven straight years during Kim and Yvonne's tenure.

The skill and dedication that produced that level of appeal is now a major part of the new HALF PASS MOON PRODUCTIONS.

In November 2013, the company had its debut at The Kentucky Horse Park with the now popular SPIRIT OF THE HORSE, a truly magical holiday show for the whole family. The company has been invited back this December 5th and 6th for a second year, building on the popularity and success of last year’s performances.

In addition to a team of expert riders and high-level performance horses, Half Pass Moon Productions also attracts other high profile equine entertainers including the extremely popular and super talented Dan James of Double Dan Horsemanship. With the diversity to do small intimate routines or a full scale production on horseback, Half Pass Moon Productions brings the world of Equine Entertainment to a grand new level.
