Hail Cesars! Cesar Parra and Don Cesar Win Omega Alpha Healthy Horse Award

Within the international dressage community, few people are as well known as Dr. Cesar Parra for keeping a stable full of horses who are healthy and happy from the inside out. “This horse is very close to my heart,” Parra says about Don Cesar. “He is so full of energy. He is so happy, and he loves to work. He’s a good eater, a good sleeper, and I thank God that he’s always been super, super healthy,” he adds. Don Cesar is a 9-year-old Westphalian who was named reserve champion as a 5-year-old and as a 6-year-old, and then went on to represent the United States in the World Championships as a 7-year-old. The beautiful chestnut gelding was the picture of health during the jog with Parra, which made him the perfect choice for the Healthy Horse Award. “Thank you for supporting us,” Parra said to Omega Alpha when he received the award, “It’s really nice to have such nice people supporting our sport all around, especially at these CDI’s that are so competitive. I really appreciate having you here!”
