Gretchen Guender and Winnepeg

Traveling to Europe to find a new horse to purchase had always been something Gretchen Guender of Del Ray Beach, Florida had dreamed of. An amateur rider, Guender is a market manager for Randstad North America, a workforce solutions company. Doing her research on the Internet, Guender found affordable flights to Amsterdam, rented a car and drove to Germany, visiting Ullrich Kasselmann's Performance Sales International.

Although PSI has a great reputation for selling some of the highest priced quality sport horses in the world, they also assist buyers searching for horses with a budget. Guender's trainer David Collins assured her she could do such an adventure on her own.

The result, a lovely 5-year-0ld Westphalian gelding named Winnipeg (by Werschatz (Hannoverian) out of Fayence (Oldenburg), who became the high score Training Level Horse, at Miami Dade Winter Dressage Show, in Training Level Test 4 with a 72.8%.
