David O’Connor, Coach of the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team, named Great Meadow as the site of the preparatory trials. Great Meadow’s 200-acre park was nearly doubled in size to develop a world-class facility that can now host a variety of USET high performance sport horse disciplines.
As a part of the upcoming preparatory trials, a special VIP Dinner Reception will take place on Saturday July 26th and serve as a major fundraising event with all proceeds benefiting the Great Meadow Foundation and USET. The VIP Dinner Reception will be held in a private tent overlooking the arena in conjunction with the show jumping phase of the preparatory trials. Tables are almost entirely sold out and range in price from $2,500 to $5000, with individual VIP dinner tickets on sale for $250 and individual VIP reception tickets on sale for $200. For more information on VIP Dinner tickets, please contact Great Meadow, 540-253-5000.
For regular general admission to the preparatory trials, a general admission car pass for all three phases (two days) is $50 and a single phase general admission car pass is $30. Railside boxes for Saturday are sold out and for Sunday tailgate spots are available for $150. For more information, please visit: www.greatmeadow.org.
