Grand Prix Champion Katherine Bateson-Chandler Gets Grander with Omega Alpha Pharmaceuticals

Wellington, FL - When Katherine Bateson-Chandler was selected to become an ambassador for Omega Alpha Pharmaceuticals Inc., a leader in developing natural equine health products through research-based science, she eagerly accepted the offer. “I was so impressed with all the science behind their products. It's incredible how much has gone into developing every product,” says the internationally successful Grand Prix dressage rider and trainer. Having given the natural equine supplements to her competition horses - Alcazar and Wellnetta - for several weeks now, Bateson-Chandler could not be happier with the results. “Already I can feel that the horses are brighter and feel better within themselves,” she reports. “Even my picky eater seems to gobble up her food with the products added. It's very important to me that they are so palatable.”
Omega Alpha offers a wide selection of award-winning products created using botanical ingredients - including supplements for respiratory, digestive, joint, hormonal, and immune health as well as products for detoxification, muscle rehabilitation, endurance, and performance. With so many options, Bateson-Chandler finds it a challenge to pick a favorite. “I think AntiFlam is an incredible product for my competition horses who work so hard in their muscles,” she says of the anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving formula, which supports sound feet and joints. “I also love Healthy Horse, for obvious reasons, but I think probably the most important product is Gastra-FX as it deals with my horse’s stomach, which is, at the end of the day, where all the other products are digested.”
Gastra-FX supports gastro intestinal health, and is used in normalizing stomach functions. Healthy Horse is a combination of Omega Alpha’s four best-selling products: Hemex (blood builder), Immune Plus, Liver Flush, and Lung Flush. The blend boosts immunity and energizes the horse for improved performance overall.
Bateson-Chandler says that after seeing how effective the supplements have been with her own horses, several of her students have also begun to use them. She believes that keeping her competition horses healthy is especially important given the stressful nature of their occupation. “They are hard-working horses!” she says, adding, “I hope that Omega Alpha will help me do my very best to give these horses all the help they need to make their lives easier!”
With the compassion and understanding that Bateson-Chandler always shows for the horses she works with, it is no surprise that she has chosen to partner with Omega Alpha. Like her horses, the equestrian works hard—competing and winning around the globe. Bateson-Chandler won multiple Grand Prixs and Grand Prix Specials at the 2015 Adequan Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Florida, and also spends time training and competing in her native United Kingdom.
Patti Hanco, Director of Business Development for the equine division of Omega Alpha, was happy to hear how much Bateson-Chandler had been enjoying the products the company had shared with her. “We are so pleased to have Katherine join our team of award-winning ambassadors and endorse our products,” she says. “Katherine’s impeccable horsemanship, grace, and professionalism have made her highly respected in the world of dressage, and we love that she shares our values and our belief that better health equals better performance.”
