FHP Winter Classic’s management consider client service and reliability to be paramount to the success of their show.
Friendly, Fun and Festive
“I always want our exhibitors, sponsors, and anyone that is involved to feel that they can approach us with concerns. We will immediately work to make their experience the best it can possibly be,” explained sponsor liaison Peggy Lynch.
The AIR Show Jumping production had its premiere in the 2020 winter season at the picturesque Florida Horse Park in the winter show season hot spot of Ocala. The facility boasts over 500 acres, a covered arena, top-of-the-line footing, and entirely open which will make it more conducive to the needs of exhibitors in the 2021 climate.
After a successful debut year, stall reservations have already well surpassed the previous year’s numbers despite several months out from the start of the series.
Big Jump In Entries for 2021
“I am humbled at the outpouring of support for the Florida Horse Park Winter Classic,” said owner and founder Bill Worthington. “We wanted to bring to the Ocala area a show that supports and caters to each client individually. There is definitely a place for small business horse shows like these in zone 4.”
The FHP Winter Classic is happy to provide the highest quality of competition, while creating a family atmosphere and affordable event. Highlights will include a $25,000 National Grand Prix event during each week and the $10,000 International Hunter Derby, presented by Up Country Farm. Other hunter and jumper competitions will also be offered to riders of all levels.
Personal With Prestige
Rolling Acres Farms’ Patty Foster described her experience at the 2020 event as a true quality production and one that she plans to mark on her calendar for years to come.
“This show emphasizes the importance of all levels of riding,” she explained. “My clients are all doing various different class levels and the show management here makes them all feel just as important.”
Foster’s favorite aspect is a more personal horse show but with the prestige of the biggest shows in the country.
“These boutique events are so important because it allows everyone to be involved in a quality event. Bill and his staff go all out to rival the best shows for the big classes such as the Grand Prix and Hunter Derby as well.”
