Tampa, FL- August 9, 2013 – The Florida Gold Coast and Gulf Coast Quarter Horse Shows are pleased to announce that they will be returning to the Florida State Fairgrounds’ Bob Thomas Equestrian Center in Tampa, FL this winter. The Florida Gold Coast Quarter Horse Winter Circuit runs December 27-31, 2013, offering six full American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) shows and providing the perfect opportunity to accumulate additional points before the end of the year. Competition then resumes January 2-6, 2014 with the Gulf Coast Quarter Horse Show, presenting a total of 12 full AQHA shows between the two consecutively running events.The Florida Gold Coast and Gulf Coast Quarter Horse Shows extensive class schedule includes numerous hunter, hunter under saddle, hunt seat equitation, western pleasure, trail, driving, showmanship, horsemanship, western riding and halter classes. Additionally, reining, roping, ranch horse pleasure and working cow horse classes will all be held at the nearby Triple J Ranch. There are classes for everyone, ranging from walk/trot to open, including rookie, novice, amateur and youth divisions.
