Lexington, KY – For equestrians planning a trip to the ‘Horse Capital of the World,’ mark your calendars and book your travel for April 20 to May 1, 2016! For these two back-to-back weeks, the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky will host the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) National Finals Horse Show and Exposition, followed by the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event.
Riders and spectators planning to attend this year’s CCI4* Rolex Three-Day Event, to be held April 28-May 1, will not want to miss this year’s IEA National Finals, which combines the Hunt Seat and Western Finals for the first time in four years.
From April 20-24 in the Horse Park’s Alltech Arena, more than an estimated 600 qualified riders will compete, both as teams and individuals, for National Championship titles in over fences, under saddle, horsemanship and reining classes.
Spectator admission to watch the 2016 IEA National Finals Horse Show and attend the exposition is included with admittance into the Horse Park, and spectators are welcome at all events. To view a full competition schedule and plan your visit, click here.
