Euro News – Snaffle Allowed in Swedish National Grand Prix Classes
Saturday, April 4, 2015 | Mary Phelps
The Swedish Equestrian Federation has amended its rule and as of 1 January 2015 riders are allowed to choose between a snaffle and double bridle to compete in at Grand Prix level at national shows. Danish equestrian site Ridehesten reported the rule change. The Swedish Federation, however, does retain the right to tell riders to ride in a double bridle at team observation trials as it is still the required standard for international shows.
