Driving Fun in the Warm Sun - Come to Black Prong in March

The Black Prong Driving Trail and CT, March 2-4 will once again be offering the optional CAC format. In addition to the standard Training, Preliminary, Intermediate and Intermediate II divisions, the CAC format allows drivers an optional choice of cross-entering divisions for each competition. For example you may select any dressage tests from those listed, any eligible* Marathon division and any one of the Cones classes.

You can tailor your entry based on your experience, preparedness and equine conditioning. If you wish to read more, see Article 901.10.6. For your convenience the CAC Entry form allows you to select the individual classes you wish to enter in each of the three competitions for the Driving Trial. Those wishing to enter a Combined Test may also select from any one of the available dressage tests and a cones class.

Drivers are limited to two entries – either two DT, two CT or one DT and one CT. The only requirement is you must be eligible* for each division entered. See the Omnibus for further details. *Eligibility requirements are listed under Article 913.3.

In addition to the Welcome Reception on Thursday at 5pm there will be an informal Bonfire, potluck and Awards presentation for all dressage and marathon class winners on Saturday evening, 6:30pm outside the Pavilion

Entries received by mail or hand delivered to the Black Prong office will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis until February 18. Only complete and legible entries with required paperwork and payments will be processed.
