Axel Steiner is set to end his FEI judging career this year with a "world tour" of sorts! THe FEI granted an extension to Axel allowing him to continue judging through the rest of 2013 as the FEI normally requires judges to retire after age 70. Axel will trun 72 in June. He is scheduled to do his last US FEI International competition at the Dressage at Devon show. He will continue to judge nationally. Read more from the Chronicle of the Horse....

Poor Totilas! Seems that since his purchase by Germany's Paul Schockemohle and Ann-Kathrin Linsenhoff he has been plauged with problems and controversy. While not a super major thing, Totilas sustained a slight injury in the breeding shed when he injured his knee while mounting the breeding phantom. He will need hand walking for a couple of weeks but should be good to go after that time. Check out more here!
