The Dressage Connection Presents Must-Have Equestrian Fashion On The Catwalk During Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Equestrian of the Year Celebration

Wellington, FL (January 24, 2012) – Watch out New York and London, there’s are a new group of supermodels strutting their stuff on the catwalk. The talented and dazzling supermodels showed off their fashionable side at the Player’s Club recently, taking part in a fashion show for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s “Equestrian of the Year” Celebration. The Dressage Connection, a premier Wellington dressage store owned by Charles and Lisa Tota, presented the fashion show with a group of well-known dressage riders serving as their models. “We had a great evening at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s ‘Equestrian of the Year’ Celebration, and the fashion show was fantastic,” said Lisa Tota. “Our glamorous supermodels, who all double as talented dressage riders, really got into the spirit of the evening and swirled and glittered their way down the catwalk. The audience loved it and each supermodel was absolutely radiant."

The models who showed off the latest in fashions and trends from The Dressage Connection included Amy Swerdlin, Katherine Bateson Chandler, Tine Zinglersen and Caroline Roffman just to name a few. “Caroline is a big fan of Konig Boots so she was really thrilled to walk the runway wearing Konig Boots and a pair of Animo breeches,” Tota said.

Dressage riders are known for being fashionable and The Dressage Connection showed off the finest couture available during the evening. “The fashion show was a great way to introduce some ‘must-have’ items for dressage riders, but it was also a great night because it supported a worthy cause,” Tota said. “It was very inspirational being able to listen to cancer survivors speak and being able to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. So many people stepped up to the plate to support the evening and The Dressage Connection was thrilled to be part of it.”

The evening also included a silent auction and Tota said she was pleased to offer a new line of bridles and tack from Windsor Equestrian in the auction. “The Dressage Connection is a dealer for Windsor Equestrian, a new line of bridles, halters, strap goods and saddles.
