Wellington, FL – Dr. Kristy Lund was dressed to the nines during the jog at the Palm Beach Dressage Derby CDIW, and all five judges unanimously awarded her with the ShowChic Turnout Award thanks to Lund’s fashionable style. ShowChic Dressage Boutique sponsored the ShowChic Turnout Award. “Kristy looked fantastic during the jog at the Palm Beach Dressage Derby. It was obvious that all five judges appreciated the fact that she presented herself so well,” said Michele Hundt, owner of ShowChic. Lund said she was honored to win the Turnout Award and said she believes it is important to dress the part during the jog. “I think as an amateur I need to present myself extremely well and show that amateurs can do as well as professionals,” she said. “I really appreciate that Show Chic sponsors this award because it really makes it worth it.”Lund received a $100 gift certificate to ShowChic as the winner of the ShoChic Turnout Award. “The Palm Beach Dressage Derby is such a wonderful show with a tremendous history,” Hundt said “The show was presented by International Horse Sport Palm Beach and really turned out to be a fantastic event.” ShoChic also donated an FEI Contenders Wardrobe to the Equestrian Aid Foundation “Inspection Reception” auction, including a Grand Prix Shadbelly, one pair of Pikeur Full Seat Breeches, a ShowChic show shirt, crystal adorned stock tie and hair bun. Tami Hoag, the New York Times bestselling author, won the bid at $2000.  “I’m thrilled our donation brought in so much for the EAF, which is a charity I believe in,” said Hundt.

Hundt said she is encouraging dressage riders to visit ShowChic, located at 3220 Fairlane Farms Road in Wellington. “We offer the finest in dressage apparel and we stock the following name brands: Arista, Cavallo, Kentucky, Pikeur, Samshield, GPA and Charles Owen.
