The summer of 2014 marked an exciting new beginning for Dorie Addy-Crow Dressage. We have moved our training operation to team with Crosiadore Farm, Breeders of GOV Sport Horses in Trappe, Maryland. We are extremely excited to start working with Crosiadore Farm and their magnificent young horses. Crosiadore Farm is a remarkable waterfront property located on Maryland’s unspoiled and vibrant Eastern Shore. The farm is situated on the banks of the Choptank River, owned by Mark and Nancy Holowesko. Our new venture, partners’ Dorie Addy-Crow Dressage with Nancy Holowesko, gifted Breeder of GOV Sport Horses. Nancy, a life long horse person, breeds for the discerning equestrian using proven bloodlines, producing brilliant offspring. Assistant Trainer Emily O’Neill will accompany Dorie to Crosiadore keeping our training team intact. We are more than a little excited in having Crosiadore horses this spring; the thought of having so many extraordinary horses to train is incredible.Crosiadore Farm is kept meticulously manicured and the facilities are nothing short of spectacular. The breeding barn is a twelve stall center isle barn with high ceilings and all the amenities necessary to run a top flight breeding operation. The training barn contains twelve stalls that are strategically placed around a state of the art oversized indoor arena. The indoor is complete with premium footing, mirrors, and viewing areas as well as grooming stalls, wash stalls, storage rooms, and a centrally located tack room. In inclement weather everything needed is located beneath the expansive ceiling of the training barn and indoor. Nice level paddocks, some with run in sheds adorn most of the land to the back of the barns. Situated to the front of the training facilities is the out door arena and round pen, both with marvelous views of the water.

Diverse horsemanship is the basis of Dories Addy-Crow’s background. Dorie is a USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medalist and a well known trainer and competitor.  Dorie has competed in the young horse World Championships in Verden, the I-1 Championships, numerous rides at Dressage at Devon, and enjoyed twenty plus years on the Florida winter circuit. Dorie began her professional horse career at Valhalla Farm in Lake City Florida. There she gained valuable breeding and barn management experience along with breaking and training dressage horses. Dorie competed in the USDF young rider program for three years at Valhalla. After eight years at Valhalla it was time to make a move to a full time training position at INSPO, importer of top quality Dutch Sporthorses. Twelve years working at INSPO with Olympian Belinda Narin-Wertman gave Dorie the opportunity to work through training problems with hundreds of talented horses. In the past few years, since the inception of her own business, Dorie has had a Regional PSG championship, competed at Devon, and shown at the Developing Horse championships in Kentucky. Dorie has worked with many talented dressage trainers and continues to train with top horseman.

Associate Trainer Emily O’Neill began her riding career early, teaching and training at her mother’s farm in Chester Springs, Pa. She spent the year following high school as a full time working student at Blue Hill Farm with Jessica and Missy Ransehausen. At Blue Hill Emily gained valuable experience training horses of all ages, levels, and disciplines. She also acquired an essential understanding of horse and farm management. Under Dories’ tutelage Emily has earned her USDF Bronze and Silver medals on her horse Falko. Emily is having a great deal of success showing client horses and ponies in Region One.  In 2013 Emily won the Third Level Freestyle at the first ever Dressage National Championship on Sir Lancelot, a Friesian gelding she had trained. Emily has developed a great talent for training young horses and is looking forward to debuting her many new projects in the show ring. Emily is now the Assistant Trainer at Dorie Addy-Crow Dressage in residence at Crosiadore Farm.
