Don't Miss the Eighth American Equestrians Got Talent's Audition Tuesday!
Monday, February 29, 2016
American Equestrians Got Talent has its eighth audition of the season tomorrow, March 1, at 7:45 p.m. at the White Horse Fashion Cuisine and it is open to the public! Plan to arrive around 6:30 p.m. to ensure efficient food service before the show begins.
American Equestrians Got Talent is excited to announce this week's judges:
Laura Graves, United States Grand Prix Dressage Champion in 2015
Lisa Wilcox, Olympic Dressage rider and bronze medalist
Ron Davis, director and producer of Harry and Snowman
Michael Klimke, German Grand Prix dressage rider
Congratulations to Week 7 Grown But Young!
"We're the group that's here to have a good time," said Grown But Young, a band from Wellington, FL. "We have that party sound; we have that get up and jump sound; we have the dancers. We're not just a single act. We're bringing everything to the table!"
Though Robert Dover, host of American Equestrians Got Talent, is only allowing non-singing performances to win the last three audition weeks, he granted Taylor Hughes a spot in the finale.
"I have been singing since as long as I can remember," Hughes said. "This is a very special competition because it raises funds for a sport that I hold so close to my heart. On a personal level it gives me a platform where I can get feedback from the audience and do what I love doing which is holding that microphone and entertaining."
Are you interested in voting for Grown But Young or Taylor Hughes? 25% of the Finale Scoring for each contestant consists of fundraising by tax-deductible donations to the USET Foundation. The total money raised as well as unique votes count towards a contestant's final score.
If you want to donate to support their score for the Finale, text Grown but Young's keyword AEGT11 to the number 71777 or Taylor Hughes' keyword at AEGT10. You will receive a link which will allow you to put in a credit card number to donate funds in any amount.
