Charlotte Dujardin and Imhotep topped the all-British podium on a night of superb performances at the fifth leg of the FEI Dressage World Cup™ 2023/2024 Western European League on home ground in London (GBR) tonight.
The 10-time gold medallist and her 10-year old gelding confidently forged a massive lead with a score of 89.465 when eleventh to go of the 14 starters, and the closest the rest could come to that was the 85.040 posted by team-mate and Tokyo Olympian Lottie Fry who was last into the arena with Everdale.
Third spot went to 23-year-old Becky Moody who has won more than 30 national titles and who has firmly established her status amongst Britain’s top dressage stars with her very exciting nine-year-old Jagerbomb who scored 83.675.
The Western European League now moves on to Mechelen in Belgium for leg six on 29 December, with Sweden’s Patrik Kittel continuing to head the standings.
