I recently got asked a question from a current farm owner: Why do we request that trainers/instructors/clinicians coming onto the property name them as an Additional Insured?
This is a great question. There are a few reasons why we request that “our insured” request to be named on a Certificate of Insurance:
This is why there is a small fee charged by most Insurance companies, because they are now also extending coverage to the “Named Additional Insured”, not just the policy holder.
