Ocala, FL – Carriage driving enthusiasts and readers of Carriage Driving World will now get the chance to go along for the ride as champion combined driver Chester Weber prepares for the 2010 World Equestrian Games. Due to Chester’s success, knowledge and visibility in the sport of combined driving, Carriage Driving World has made their magazine the Official Publication of Chester Weber.

“By joining forces, Chester’s name will validate the magazine’s place in the carriage driving community and in turn will spotlight Chester’s career,” said Donna Hornsby, Editor-In-Chief of Carriage Driving World.

Weber has indeed become a force to be reckoned with in the sport of combined driving. He accomplished a feat no other American has ever managed when he won the Individual Silver Medal in the Four-in-Hand at the World Championships in The Netherlands in 2008. He also holds the National Championship Four-in-Hand title  -- a title he has won six consecutive years in a row.

Although he is only 33-years-old, Weber has already competed twice in the World Equestrian Games. He now has his sights set on the 2010 World Equestrian Games, which will be held in Kentucky. As he prepares for WEG, Chester will write a column for Carriage Driving World called “The Weber Report – The Road to WEG” which will take readers along for the ride.

“The Weber Report will be an enjoyable read as readers get to ride along with Chester on the road to the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Kentucky,” Hornsby said. “Carriage Driving World prides itself on quality content and providing news you can use, today and tomorrow. Chester brings new insight to the carriage driving world that readers won’t find anywhere else.”

In addition to following Chester Weber as he prepares for the World Equestrian Games, the magazine will also produce an in-depth Live Oak Combined Driving Event issue. Held at Weber’s home farm Live Oak in Ocala, Florida, the issue will provide coverage of the 2009 event held in March.

Hornsby is also thrilled that Chester Weber will pen a Product Review section for each issue of the magazine. “Carriage Driving World readers will indeed be excited about the columns that Chester is writing, especially the product reviews as this is information everyone can benefit from,” she said.

Thanks to the union of Carriage Driving World and Chester Weber, fans and readers will be able to follow Team Weber, learn from a top professional and have the opportunity to get to know Chester as he guides them in their carriage driving pursuits.
