Sunday, February 1, 2004 | Posted by Mary Phelps
Elizabeth Clarke will be giving a weekend seminar on business management March 20 & 21, at Averett University in Danville , VA. Day one will focus on business structuring, liability releases, insurance considerations, sale transactions, employment considerations, and government regulations. Day two will cover financial statements, tax considerations, developing a business plan, estate planning and much more.
Elizabeth Clarke has been involved with horses and the businesses that serve them and their people since she could walk. A lawyer and former commercial banker, she’s spent much of her career trying to help professional equestrians run the “business” side of their businesses while acknowledging that of course they’d really rather be riding. She is a wonderful speaker who makes these subjects interesting and easy to understand.
If you are a professional or considering becoming a professional, you don’t want to miss this seminar! The cost for the weekend is $100 if registered by March 1, $150 if registered after March 1. For more information and an application please contact Eliza Sydnor at (336) 214-5279 or email at esydnor@msn.com .
